We happen to have a local closeout/discount store that we frequent that exclusively accepts Discover Card, so this will work well on grocery purchases made next month. If Discover would have raised the spend threshold above $500, it might have garnered more use. However, we are also busily working towards our US Airways 15,000 mile bonus after spending $750 on both my wife and my cards. So it is for the better that we will get to spread the love next month.
As usual, one must register for the promotion by either calling Discover Card direct, or going to their website.
After signing into your account, you may not directly see the offer. At the top of your Discover home page, you will see a link for Account Profile. Click that and scroll down near the bottom.
Then under the Rewards Options. if you were targeted for the promotion, you should see the offer listed.

Thank you for posting this! I was logged in to my Discover account and saw a headline about double cashback but had already clicked on something else. Could Not get back to that offer so tried googling it and your post came up.
I’ve had my Discover card for decades and Never knew about the special offers on my Profile page! Even when I went to Profiles I wouldn’t have guessed to scroll down so far to find it.
I missed most of the month’s bonus but it won’t happen again. Thank you!
