This is a quick reminder that registration for the 2012-2013 school year Read to Succeed program is coming to an end on March 1, 2013. We last talked about all the details of the program, and the underlying main benefit of getting free tickets to your local Six Flags park back when registration first opened in October 2012.
This is an excellent opportunity for teachers to register their class, and encourage their students to read. Then by simply submitting reading logs, the classroom will earn free tickets to Six Flags.
As a quick reminder, the program is for school aged kids in K-6. Then parents and teachers will encourage their kids to read for a minimum 6 hours. Although our kids are to young to participate, my wife and I read to our boys for about a half hour each night. This means you can easily knock this off in about two weeks time, unless your child reads more. This is such a great promotion to encourage reading and rewarding students with a free day at their favorite amusement park.
If you are already a member to Six Flags, do not forget that you can now Eat All Year at Six Flags with the Dining Pass.
Also, use your Discover Card to receive an additional 5% discount on tickets purchased online as well as most purchases throughout the parks.
