For the past year or so I have watched American Express credit card holders get exclusive offers just for using their card(s). Now that I am the proud owner of the Hilton HHonors American Express card, I can finally start to join in the fun.
Over the past weekend, I synced up my card with the American Express Facebook page. After registering your card, some exclusive offers appear for card holders.
A couple things to note, according to the official AMEX + Facebook FAQs.
1) Your credit card information is never shared with Facebook.
2) Any valid AMEX can register for the promotion, including all of the ones on our Credit Card page. If you have multiple cards, it is limited to one card per Facebook account.
Once your card is registered, one just visits the Sync Facebook page, and selects which offers they want to participate in.
Some of the notable promotions going on right now include:
– Spend $50 or more at Romano’s Macaroni Grill by September 30, 2012 and receive a $15 statement credit.
– Spend $100 or more at Tommy Hilfiger and get a $25 statement credit (until 9/30/12).
– Stay 2 Nights at a Radisson Hotel and get the 3rd Night Free (until 9/30/12); I did not check the rates to see how they compare to also rates.
So it is totally worth it to register your card and see what kind of offers are available.

Just wait till Small Business Saturday….you wont be able to contain yourself. Amex is genius at micro-marketing.
@Brian: I watched all the promotions going on around me last year, so hopefully this year there will be something worthwhile to participate in.
If you’re using an iPhone, Android or Blackberry device, it’s as easy as: sync + check in + load + swipe = save!. Just follow the instructions when you view an American Express Special in the app.
