Hi, I’m new to this Audience Rewards thing and still trying to figure it out. I’ve entered my SPG account, do I set earning to SPG and get 2 AR points extra or do I set it to AR and get SPG points extra? And if it is set to SPG earn, then do you earn double points cause AR=SPG?

    Thanks

@Hank: I recommend setting your account to earn SPG points when answering trivia questions on the SPG version of Audience Rewards. Then you will earn 2 points in SPG and 2 additional AR points.

We have our SPG account associated with my wife’s Delta Audience Rewards account. I have found that by setting the preference to earning SPG points, when I answer the Delta questions we still earn credit in her Delta account even though it is not set as the earning preference. And we also then earn the SPG points when answering those questions.

Thanks for your question, and if you have any more, please feel free to let me know.

True or False? The original Broadway production of Rent was no longer running when the movie version of the musical premiered. (False)
What famous figure is in Freud’s Last Session (aside from the title character)? (C.S. Lewis)
Who stars in the lead female role in Lysistrata Jones? (Patti Murin)
Douglas Carter Beane is from what state? (Pennsylvania)
True or False? Andrew Lloyd Webber has been married to two different women named Sarah. (True)
    Enjoy!

I am new to this Audience Reward thing and still trying to figure it out. Why do the questions in my account not match the questions that you post? say for instance, when I saw the new SPG questions, I clicked on audiencerewards.com and my first question is:
True or False? The theatre that’s known as the Lunt-Fontanne has always been called that.

Now, no one else has this as the questions for this week. Am I behind, because some weeks I did not go to the website? I think this is for earning on my USAirways account, because that is what it says under the account activity. Do you change the earning category box each time, because I see my SPG account in there, but it says NOT EARNING beside it. so does that make it my USA account? sorry if this is confusing, but i am confused! I also think I have multiple accounts with multiple emails, but usually just sign in under my main account.

@WorldTraveller2: Thanks for the questions. There are several things that can be going on.

    1) How are you accessing the questions? Are you going to AudienceRewards.com and clicking on Points Play to access the trivia questions, or are you accessing each of the partner pages (Delta, US Airways, etc.) and clicking on each of their Points Play links? Audience Rewards has tons of questions they offer to only earn Audience Rewards points, and these are accessed on their Point Play home page.

You need to make sure you go to each of the individual partner Points Play pages to access their respective questions.

Here is a quick guide to access each company’s questions.
    a) If you want to go to Delta’s questions, when you are at AudienceRewards.com, at the upper left click on Partner Points and click on Delta’s page.
    b) Then within each partner page you will need to click Points Play to access their respective questions.

I have also provided quick links directly to each of the affiliated company’s trivia questions on my Audience Rewards page.

    2) There is a chance that within each of the partner Points Play trivia questions that you might see additional 20 mile/point questions that are not found on my lists. These are because Audience Rewards randomly places these questions so only certain people can see them. So if there is an additional question, you might need to seek out the answer if I do not provide it. Feel free to share the answer with the InACents community so others may see it too.

To answer your last set of questions, it all depends how you set up your account(s). If you created a single Audience Rewards account, and linked all of your partner accounts with the one account, then yes, you will need to change the earning preference each time. You can tell if it’s working or not by when you answer a question and whether it shows that you earned miles/points AND Show Points. If it only shows that you earned Show Points, you should go in and change your earning preference to the affiliated questions.

If you created separate accounts for each partner, than we recommend signing into each partners Points Play trivia questions separately.

Hopefully that helps. Let us know if you have any more questions. I will add this to the InACents Audience Rewards Questions and Answers page.
