Do you ever get that feeling where you just yearn to take another vacation? My wife recently said to me the other day she really is feeling the urge to go somewhere. We also comment all the time how we have had such great memories at the Disney Parks, and need to go back again. The plan as of right now is to possibly head back next Thanksgiving, after the new Fantasyland opens up. We will see though because that is a really long ways away. Mrs. InACents and I also want to head to Hawaii at some point before trying for more kids too, so there are lots of future plans in the works, where all these miles and points will come in handy to allow us to Save Money, Travel More.
The other big draw to the Florida region is the new Legoland opening up in October 2011, which I talked about recently with the free child ticket promotion sponsored by Pepsi.
So I was just curious what our AAA discount would get us. Rather than putting in the zip code of our local AAA office, I put in the zip code for the Winter Haven, FL region (33884) to see if there were any good offers.
Low and behold, I learned about a couple of new offers through AAA.
- October 7 and 8, 2011, AAA is hosting a special preview night at Legoland Florida. Tickets are $34.99 (Save $30 each) with a limit of 8 tickets.
- Upgrade to the Stay and Play package, which includes one night accommodations at the Holiday Inn Winter Haven, starting at $129. However, it looks like due to overwhelming demand, there is a wait list for this package.
- Buy an adult 1-day ticket and get a free child 1-day ticket. Must be purchased by September 30, 2011 for use starting October 15 till May 31, 2012. Tickets are only available at AAA branch locations or AAA.com.
Keep in mind, there is a good possibility that these tickets can only be purchased at AAA branch locations in Club South. I tried logging in with our AAA account, and it noted we were not members of the Club South section. Possibly your local AAA branch can work around the system if you are not from that area and would like to purchase these tickets.

1) Subscribe to Lego MBA Kits 2-6 and receive a free admission coupon with a paid admission.
2) There is again a free child ticket voucher with purchase of an adult. This voucher will get you into Legoland California and Sea Life Carlsbad Aquarium.
