Back again for 2014, the Bank of America Museum on Us program has returned.

To participate, you must be a member of Bank of America and hold a valid credit or debit card of theirs (or Merrill Lynch cards count too). Then, the first full weekend of every month (see dates below), you will get free admission to over 150 cultural museums nationwide.

• February 1-2
• March 1-2
• April 5-6
• May 3-4
• June 7-8
• July 5-6
• August 2-3
• September 6-7
• October 4-5
• November 1-2
• December 6-7

The 2014 roster of available museums was released and includes a plethora of different options.

Currently the list has 30 States that offer free admission of some sort as follows (Note: New Mexico was dropped from last years list):

• Maryland
• Massachusetts
• Michigan
• Minnesota
• Missouri

• Pennsylvania
• Rohde Island
• South Carolina
• Tennessee
• Texas
• Virginia
• Washington
• Washington D.C.

The only downside is that you only receive one ticket per card. Therefore, in order to get your family in, you will be required to possess several cards.

Some of the highlights around our area offer free admission to the Henry Ford Museum (Detroit), Shedd Aquarium (Chicago), the Great Lakes Science Center (Cleveland), or several Children’s Museums around the Country.
