New American Airlines Shopping Members Earn 100 Free Miles (+ Up to 900 More)

Reader Beth was kind enough to forward us a promotion from Cartera Commerce, who operates the American Airlines shopping portal. For some reason none of our American Airlines account received the promotional email, but that could be because we are already members of their portal.

Personally, I have zero interest in ever dealing with a Cartera Commerce run shopping portal again after an incident in 2011 where they ran a promotion to earn miles with a purchase and then failed to follow through. They even requested I sent the items back, which I did, and it took months and months worth of followup emails to get my money back from their botched program.

As a new user, I would recommend just earning your free 100 miles and moving on as there are many other shopping portals that are more reliable with reporting the sale and commission.
