Visa card has teamed up with Priority Club to offer a new promotion called Rewards on the Go. Basically, you register your Visa card, cell phone number, and Priority Club number into the program. They then provide you with up to three (3) text messages per week with deals that may pertain to you.
In addition, hidden in the terms and conditions, you will find that you will be awarded 500 Priority Club points through this promotion (Bolding by me).
Program Terms and Conditions:
To participate in Priority Club Rewards On the Go and receive 500 Priority Club points you must: (i) be a Priority Club® Rewards member; (ii) enroll in advance in Priority Club Rewards On the Go using an eligible Visa card; and (iii) include your valid Priority Club Rewards member number during your enrollment in Priority Club Rewards On the Go. Bonus Priority Club points will be deposited to the enrolled member’s Priority Club Rewards account within 4 – 6 weeks after successful enrollment in Priority Club Rewards On the Go. Limit one (1) set of 500 Bonus Points per Priority Club Rewards member. Offer expires 10.15.11 and enrollment in Priority Club Rewards On the Go must be completed by 11:59 PM PT on 10.15.11. Void where prohibited. Miles earners will receive Priority Club points for this promotion.

Next, fill in your contact information including email address, cell phone number, Visa card information, and Priority Club number.
After accepting the terms and conditions, they will send you a three digit code via text to confirm the number. That is it.
If at any point you wish to stop receiving texts, there are several ways:
By participating in Priority Club Rewards On the Go and clicking “I AGREE”, you are opting-in to receive marketing messages and other communications via SMS to your enrolled mobile device, but can opt-out of such messages at any time by either: (a) sending a text message with the words “OFFERS STOP” to Priority Club Rewards On the Go 868-472 or “OFFERS STOP” to any text message you may receive from Priority Club Rewards On the Go; or (b) visiting Priority Club Rewards On the Go http://rtm.visa.com/priorityclub/expressenroll/unsubscribe and unsubscribing your enrolled mobile number. For customer service or support in connection with Priority Club Rewards On the Go, send a text message containing “HELP” to Priority Club Rewards On the Go 868-472 from your enrolled mobile device. Message and data rates may apply.
You might want to use one of those Visa cards that you do not use that much (i.e. signed up for the bonus and threw in your drawer) because this program will allow them to use the transactions to tailor the text messages to your spending habits.
I will have to see how obnoxious and valuable the texts are over the next couple weeks. As soon as the points post to my account, maybe I will stop this service if I find no value in it.
I tried this but keep getting an error message. Tried two different browsers. Is it expired?
@Kathy: Registration in this promotion is valid until 10/15/11, so I am not sure why it is not working for you. I would recommend contacting Priority Club if there are any issues.
As a side note for everyone, I think I have maybe received only 1 or 2 texts since enrolling in this promotion over a month ago, so they are not obnoxious with the texts.
