Hopefully this is the start of a big trend. The Venetian and Palazzo Hotels in Las Vegas have teamed up with Priority Club, which is great news. Now when traveling to Vegas, we have another viable option for hotels on the strip.
If I have the option of staying in a loyalty hotel versus a non-affiliated hotel brand, I will try and maintain my status with the loyalty hotel if the price is right. Lets be honest, in the end, price plays a major factor in trying to score a deal; however, there is a premium to be paid in some circumstances for rewards. If the prices are similar between the same level of hotels, I will always pick the one that will earn us points or miles.
To celebrate Priority Club’s launch into the Las Vegas strip hotel scene, they are running a 6,000 point promotion, in addition to normal stay points, if you book the 6,000 point package price. Keep in mind you typically pay more per night with this promotion, but depending on your specific itinerary and point status, it may be well worth it.
