SAVE $18.99 OFF CEDAR POINT TICKETS – The Arthritis Foundation is currently offering a great promotion for Cedar Point tickets, that are in turn valid from opening day through June 15, 2014. Donors can purchase tickets for $41.00 each, a savings of $18.99 off the retail price.

By comparison, purchasing tickets online directly from Cedar Point, the tickets are $49.99.

In addition to getting a great offer on tickets, you will also be helping a great cause because $3 of every ticket sold benefits The Arthritis Foundation’s Walk to Cure Arthritis.

Dates in May vary from $125-181 per night and June from $189-204 per night, a savings of 30% off rack rates. Each night is for a double Queen room for up to 4 guests.

MY COKE REWARDS CEDAR FAIR TICKETS – Spring is in the air, or at least it is buried somewhere under six inches of snow across most of the country. Our family, being Ohio natives, is excited for the new season of Cedar Point, as well as the launch of our new sister project, the Cedar Point Food Blog.

We will be in the park on media day, May 8, covering the latest in Cedar Point Food news!

With the introduction of Coca-Cola products into Cedar Fair properties in 2013, the partnership provided for some great symmetries between the companies. For those looking to get into Cedar Point, or any of the other Cedar Fair properties across the country, My Coke Rewards has brought back their ticket redemption for the 2014 season.

For 1,000 points per ticket, you can redeem for a single day admission to:

  • Kings Island

The My Coke Rewards Cedar Fair Tickets are pricey at 1,000 points per ticket. However, in the case of Cedar Point, the rack ticket price is $49.99, making it a reasonable value.

Personally, I do not recommend going and depleting your My Coke Rewards balance for the sake of getting tickets. While the demise of the Wednesday Deals promotion ended in 2014, I would venture to say there will be chances to redeem at discounted point redemptions as we get closer to the opening of the season, as well as towards the end of the season when they need to use up supply. Last year the discounted promotion was run in May and August, offering tickets for an outstanding 250 points.
