Free Admission to the Exploratorium on Pi Day

FREE ADMISSION TO THE EXPLORATORIUM – Pi Day, March 14, is the mathematical holiday founded at the Exploratorium in 1988 and celebrated by number lovers around the world. To honor the never-ending number 3.14159… (and Einstein’s birthday), the Exploratorium will serve up π-themed activities, rituals, antics, and plenty of pie. Find out what is so special about this famous mathematical constant, and take your (decimal) place in their annual march to the Pi Shrine!

Guests of all ages will be offered free admission to the Exploratorium on Pi Day.

The Exploratorium offers some exhibits and programs that are best appreciated by adults while others are very popular with kids and toddlers.

Ticket prices are $25 for adults (18–64); $19 for youth (4–17), college students, teachers, seniors (65+), people with disabilities; and FREE for children ages 3 and younger. So you can quickly see that the advantage of going on free day can save a family a bunch of money!

In addition to Pi Day, the Exploratorium will also offer free admission on the following days:
