Guests looking to stay this summer can save a great deal of money using the Groupon to reserve your room.

Dates in May vary from $125-181 per night and June from $189-204 per night, a savings of 30% off rack rates. Each night is for a double Queen room for up to 4 guests.

You also receive:

  • Early entry to Cedar Point: Guests at Hotel Breakers will get to go on select Cedar Point rides an hour before the park opens to the general public.
  • Park for free at the hotel with the park entrance a five-minute walk away, and get the lowest park ticket prices with the front desk.
  • Splash around in the hotel’s two outdoor pools (overlooking the beach) and one indoor pool.
  • Five-minute walk to parks: the entrance to Cedar Point Amusement park is right nearby.
  • Beach access: Walk out the back doors of the hotel and you’re steps from the sand.

Groupon does not include tickets to Cedar Point, as those need to be purchased separately.

2014 Mother’s Day Increased Discover Cashback Bonus

2014 MOTHER’S DAY INCREASED DISCOVER CASHBACK BONUS – For most of the country the snow has melted and pretty soon, if they have not already, flowers will start sprouting with the excitement of spring. This also means Mother’s Day is a month away (May 11 for those that do not know). Therefore, it is time to start thinking of gift ideas.

As has been tradition, Discover Card is offering to save you some money with select merchants when making online purchases at some of your favorite stores.

From now through May 11, 2014, shop at select retailers listed above, and when going through the ShopDiscover portal, you will earn even more cashback in your account.

The two sweet spots we are excited to see in the list is Living Social and Groupon, both being bumped up to 10%. This once again puts ShopDiscover as the highest payout when shopping at those retailers (since we announced the Groupon decrease to 5% in October). I did not have time this time, but typically the other retailers cashback bonus is at the highest payout from all the portals too.

Be on the lookout for ramped up promotions from Groupon for Mother’s Day, making this an excellent opportunity to score some great bonuses.

New Hope Easter Bunny Express Groupon

Choose From Three Options:

  • $35 for an Easter Bunny Express train ride for one adult and one child ($51.90 value)
  • $22 for any hourly excursion for one adult and one child ($37.90 value)
  • $24 for two adult tickets to any hourly excursion ($39.90 value)

The 50-minute Easter Bunny Express ride takes families on a 9-mile roundtrip ride on a vintage train. En route, the Easter Bunny stops by to say hello and hands out candy to the children. Hourly excursions also travel 9 miles roundtrip, and include narration about the history of Bucks County and the New Hope Line.
