This past summer during our trip to Disneyland, we heard “can we ride the monorail?” more times than we typically get asked “are we there yet?” It does not help that Disney purposely has the monorails gliding along above your head everywhere you go. Oh, we are waiting in line for the Alice in Wonderland ride, how about we blow the horn of the monorail as it approaches the Matterhorn.
When we finally made our way through all of the Fantasyland rides first thing in the morning, we made our way over towards Tomorrowland to hop aboard the monorail. As we were waiting in line, I realized we were near last in line for the next train and decided to take a gamble and ask if we could ride in the front.
Fortunately for us, nobody requested to ride with the driver, and we were guided towards the front of the train. While it was a surreal experience for the Mrs. and I, I can not say for sure whether the boys really understood the breadth of how magnificent of an experience riding in the front of the monorail could be compared to the rear.
At least there is always the videos we can show the boys to quench the boys insatiable appetite for all things choo-choo.

No way this is awesome! I bet people don’t even know they can ask!
