Chevrolet and Hershey have once again teamed up to offer free tickets to Hershey Park this year. Last years deal was great, and we got in on the deal even though it was supposed to be limited to Pennsylvania and area residents. This year’s deal looks like it’s a lot more restrictive in that they limit the promotion to residents of:
DE, DC, MD, NJ, PA, NY, VA, WV
I went ahead and registered on the Hershey Chevy promotion page anyways, putting my home address and zip code, but using one of the states they allow. We will see if the system allows the tickets to go through. Hopefully by having the correct zip code, the post office just corrects the envelop.
This deal is a substantial savings for a family of four. Last year Chevy allowed guests to test drive various Chevy vehicles, as well as attend a hospitality tent to learn more about the vehicles and all you can drink beverages.
These tickets went extremely fast last year, so get yours before they are gone.
I tried “tricking” the system to get tickets, by using our correct address but choosing one of the select states allowed with this promotion. Yesterday we received a letter in the mail that we did not qualify. I was kind of surprised at the level of compliance with this promotion this year. I thought maybe the system would have been automated and we would have fallen through the cracks. Oh well, more tickets for someone else to enjoy.
Why I have not received the registration code? I still own the Chevy Malibu…
@Prashant: The new offer for 2012, which I will be posting about in the coming week or so, is randomly targeted by Chevy. So there is no guarantee that you will receive a unique registration code this year.
