Back in late August we took a look at what will probably be the best deal of the year on purchasing your Six Flags season passes. With the purchase of four (4) Six Flags amusement park season passes, to any of the parks, before October 27, 2013, you secure what we presume will be the lowest price of the season, as well as all of tickets will be upgraded to Gold season passes.
Gold Six Flags season passes are a fantastic option for families since you not only get into all of the other Six Flags parks around the country, but also free parking, and various other benefits. The only caveat was you were required to purchase a minimum of four passes to make the offer work. The upgrade to Gold is a significant benefit that you receive “for free” if you are buying season passes anyways, so it pays to purchase early.
Discover card is an exclusive credit card partner with Six Flags, and as a result, offers guest the opportunity to save 5% on all Six Flags purchases when using your Discover.
Six Flags and Discover have also released a limited time offer to purchase season passes. For those that only require the purchase of two (2) season passes to Six Flags, the Discover card Six Flags offer might be for you. The Discover offer gets both of your season passes upgraded to Gold, which includes all of the same benefits (parking, Fright Fest, etc.)
How Do the Six Flags Offers Compare?
Regardless of whether you purchase 2 or 4 Six Flags season passes, the offer is essentially the same in that you get all of the same upgrade benefits in the Gold package. The difference, however, comes in the cost of the tickets. Lets take a look at the comparisons. (See our 2014 Six Flags Annual Pass Ticket Discounts page for additional information on purchases of 4 or more passes).
