This weekend marks the second time this year where everyone can enjoy the National Parks free entrance day.
On Presidents Day weekend (February 14-16, 2015), guests can experience one of the 133 National Park locations that typically charge an entrance fee, as well as the tons that do not.
While our family will not be able to take advantage of this upcoming National Park free entrance day, we did get to go to the James A. Garfield National Historic Site with Kids, during the National Public Lands Day in September 2013.
Future National Parks Free Entrance Days are:
April 18-19 (opening weekend of National Park Week)
August 25 (National Park Service Birthday)
September 26 (National Public Lands Day)
November 11 (Veterans Day)
Where will your free entrance day take you?
