For most of us in the northern States, once Labor Day has past, it means the Fall season is drawing near and many of the amusement parks will be getting ready to close shop for the season. Therefore, parks like Cedar Point and Canada’s Wonderland will be open only on the weekends until November 1, 2014.
These parks are open during this time of the season for their Halloween attractions. However, during the day, the parks are still a family friendly atmosphere, getting the kids some last minute chances to ride their favorite rides and interact with the Peanuts gang characters.
Upon looking around in the internet, I happen to stumble upon a MasterCard program called Priceless Cities. Upon looking around on the Toronto page, I happen to discover that MasterCard holders can save 38% off the cost of a Canada’s Wonderland ticket through November 1.
This means a normal $59.99 ticket would only cost $36.99. However, here is the kicker. The tickets are not valid for Halloween Haunt. Taking a peak at Canada’s Wonderland operating schedule, that means you will be able to visit the park from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM Saturdays and Sundays thru November 1. After that time, you likely would not want your kids in the park anyways, as the scary characters will start to make their way throughout the park.
This is an excellent way to save money and get those last minute trips to Canada’s Wonderland in. Our family recently bought Platinum season passes good for all of the Cedar Fair parks. So we have high expectations of trying to visit as many of the other parks as we can next summer, including Canada’s Wonderland.
Save Money, Travel More!
