We have written about the Bank of America Museums on Us program several times over the past couple of years, as I think the promotion, and several others like it, are a fantastic deal for the customer. As a quick recap, all that is required to participate is for you to be a member of Bank of America and hold a valid credit or debit card of theirs (or Merrill Lynch cards count too). Then, the first full weekend of every month (see dates below), you will get free admission to over 150 cultural museums nationwide.
2013 Schedule
January 5th & 6th
February 2nd & 3rd
March 2nd & 3rd
April 6th & 7th

The 2013 roster of available museums was released and includes a plethora of different options. This year, Bank of America added two new States to the roster (Alaska and Minnesota)
Currently the list has 31 states that offer free admission of some sort as follows:
- Alaska
- Arizona
- California
- Connecticut
- Delaware
- Florida
- Georgia
- Illinois
- Maine
- Maryland
- Massachusetts
- Michigan
- Minnesota
- Missouri
- Nevada
- New Hampshire
- New Jersey
- New Mexico
- New York
- North Carolina
- Ohio
- Oklahoma
- Oregon
- Pennsylvania
- Rohde Island
- South Carolina
- Tennessee
- Texas
- Virginia
- Washington
- Washington D.C.
The only downside is that you only receive one ticket per card. Therefore, in order to get your family in, you will be required to possess several cards.
Some of the highlights around our area offer free admission to the Henry Ford Museum (Detroit), Shedd Aquarium (Chicago), the Great Lakes Science Center (Cleveland), or several Children’s Museums around the Country.
