From now through August 15, 2011, Priority Club Shopping portal is offering up to 2,000 bonus points for each purchase. The deal works just like any other online shopping portal. However, the rate of bonus points earning varies whether you are a Priority Club VISA card holder.
Current Priority Club VISA card holders can earn:
1,000 bonus points for $50 spent
1,500 bonus points for $75 spent
2,000 bonus points for $100 spent
If you are not a Priority Club VISA card member, you will earn:
500 bonus points for $50 spent
1,000 bonus points for $75 spent
1,500 bonus points for $100 spent
The thing I like about this program is that if you are a Priority Club VISA card holder, you can register your card and earn the same bonus points for purchases made in-store. The bonuses above are in addition to earning up to 20 points per $1 spent.
I am not entirely sure if you are only allowed to register Priority Club cards for this program, so I went ahead and registered my local bank debit card to see if it will work. I will report back if I find I get some free points out of this program.
Just curious, has anyone received these bonus points yet? I’m still waiting and Priority Club doesn’t seem to know when they will hit my account, thanks.
@Kim: Unfortunately, Cartera is the company that actually runs the shopping portal for Priority Club. They have a horrible track record for timely reporting of purchases. My recommendation would be to contact them, providing receipts and possibly screenshots, and argue your case for the bonus points. The above promotion expired back in August, so your points should have posted by now. You are correct in that Priority Club has very little, if any, involvement in the shopping portal process, so they will not be able to help the customer for missing points.
