I love getting free into museums, zoos, and other art and cultural events. I had previously written about other great corporate sponsored events such as Target’s program. I recently found out about this great program for any Bank of America account holders.
The program is called Museum’s on Us, and Bank of America members will get in free at 150 various events across the nation on the first full weekend of each month. The list includes museums, zoos, science centers, botanical gardens, and more.
Currently the list has 29 states that offer free admission of some sort as follows:
- Arizona
- California
- Connecticutt
- Delaware
- Florida
- Georgia
- Illinois
- Maine
- Maryland
- Massachusetts
- Michigan
- Missouri
- Nevada
- New Hampshire
- New Jersey
- New Mexico
- New York
- North Carolina
- Ohio
- Oklahoma
- Oregon
- Pennsylvania
- Rohde Island
- South Carolina
- Tennessee
- Texas
- Virginia
- Washington
- Washington D.C.
An easy to view pdf of the current listings is located on the Bank of America website.
This program is kind of a hidden benefit not a lot of current Bank of America account holders are aware about. Simply show your current credit or debit card, as well as ID at the ticket counter for a free admission. Note, each member of the family will be required to show their own credit or debit card to get free admission. Therefore, you might want to call and have the rest of your family added as additional authorized users, if not just for the benefit of getting free into a museum.
