Save $5 ON DUTCH WONDERLAND TICKETS – Our family made a trip to Dutch Wonderland this past Thanksgiving weekend, and had a really great time experiencing the park for the first time all dressed up for Christmas time. Dutch Wonderland is located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and is a perfect amusement park to spend the day when also visiting the Strasburg, PA train or Amish Country areas.

This week Dutch Wonderland is offering a $5 discount on one day admission tickets. Purchase tickets between March 31 – April 6, 2014, and Royalty One Day Admission are only $31.75. Tickets can be used any day of the 2014 summer season (expires October 12, 2014). Offer not valid on previously purchased tickets. All ticket purchases are nonrefundable.

I would suggest Dutch Wonderland is ideal for kids 13 and under, who would appreciate smaller amusement park rides. The park is most ideal for families, with most attractions suitable for kids of all ages.

During our visit in November, several of the attractions were shut down for the season, but we still managed to have an amazing evening within the park, and our boys really loved it.

Free Camping While Helping Children With Cancer

KOA CARE CAMPS BIG WEEKEND – There is one thing we can all agree on; it has been a really long winter! Most of us are anxious to get out and hit the open roads of America, and typically the most economical way to do so is with camping. That is why I am delighted to share this initiative from KOA, Kampgrounds of America.

KOA set up KOA Care Camps, a group of 56 specialized summer camps located throughout North America that provide a true summer camp experience for children with cancer and their siblings. Each year, Kampgrounds of America and its local KOA owners raise funds through camper donations to support these very special camps and deserving children.

During Care Camps Big Weekend, participating KOAs will offer campers the ability to donate to KOA Care Camps through several special, fun events and activities – or feel free to drop your donation directly into one of the handy collection stations you will see in the KOA Camp Stores.

The KOA Care Camps Trust distributes $500,000 annually to these camps to help send children to the summer camps of their dreams.

This is where you come in.

KOA will offer guests who stay as a paying guest Friday, May 9, 2014 at any participating KOA campground a free stay on Saturday, May 10.

I spot checked some various locations we may be interested in visiting, and there is some great value to be found out of this deal, while helping a tremendous cause.

For example, Cedar Point opens to the public Saturday, May 10. The Sandusky/Bayshore KOA still had everything from tent sites to cabins available as of this posting. Drive there and stay Friday night, and then head to the park all day Saturday, knowing you have a comfy place to rest upon your return.

LEGOLAND FLORIDA PUBLIX AND KRAFT OFFER – Historically speaking, or at least since Legoland Florida opened in 2012, the best ticket offer available was a free child ticket with adult ticket purchase. The offer has been available in various formats with different merchants.

Now we may have a new best Legoland ticket deal!

Visit this link to print off a coupon. You may need to mess around with your Java to get it to print properly. Also, make sure you select a zip code with an existing Publix store, as I received an error when I tried plugging in an Ohio zip code without a store.

Coupon shown for reference only. You will need to print an original copy from the link provided and take it to the store.

Coupon is also available from the local Publix circulars.

You will receive a coupon, valid for redemption at Publix stores. Buy any four (4) participating KRAFT products: Kraft® Macaroni & Cheese 4-pack, Oscar Mayer® Smoothie Lunchables, Polly-O® String Cheese, or Oscar Mayer® Meat Wieners.

You will then receive an offer to get $15 off the price of an Adult One Day Ticket to Legoland + a Free Child Admission.

This is the first time I have ever seen a discount on the adult ticket plus a free kids ticket to Legoland.

Coupon is valid through April 11, 2014.

Note: We assume each coupon is only valid for one combination ticket. In order to purchase multiple adult tickets and get multiple free children tickets, you will likely need to print several coupons from different computers, and then purchase additional KRAFT products to qualify.
