2014 ShopDiscover Mothers day

2014 Mother’s Day Increased Discover Cashback Bonus

2014 MOTHER’S DAY INCREASED DISCOVER CASHBACK BONUS – For most of the country the snow has melted and pretty soon, if they have not already, flowers will start sprouting with the excitement of spring. This also means Mother’s Day is a month away (May 11 for those that do not know). Therefore, it is time to start thinking of gift ideas.

As has been tradition, Discover Card is offering to save you some money with select merchants when making online purchases at some of your favorite stores.

[table id=5 /]

From now through May 11, 2014, shop at select retailers listed above, and when going through the ShopDiscover portal, you will earn even more cashback in your account.

The two sweet spots we are excited to see in the list is Living Social and Groupon, both being bumped up to 10%. This once again puts ShopDiscover as the highest payout when shopping at those retailers (since we announced the Groupon decrease to 5% in October). I did not have time this time, but typically the other retailers cashback bonus is at the highest payout from all the portals too.

Be on the lookout for ramped up promotions from Groupon for Mother’s Day, making this an excellent opportunity to score some great bonuses.

Uber Cleveland Starts with Free Rides

The mobile app taxi service called Uber announced this week that they are extending service into Cleveland. Users who install the mobile app on their smartphones will be able to call up a “taxi” and determine the price and level of service (i.e. vehicle type) before the transportation even arrives. The difference between a standard taxi service and Uber drivers is you will be able to see a picture of your driver, their vehicle, and track their location to pick you up. Uber drivers also are not typical taxi drivers, but regular people offering up their own vehicles to transport you around town.

Also, using the mobile app, no money exchanges hands. You simply store a credit card on file with Uber, and your card is automatically charged when using the service.

Right now new Uber accounts can receive a $20 credit when using our referral link.

In addition, through April 23, 2014 Uber is offering up to 5 free rides per person in Cleveland.

Toggle the slider at the bottom of your Uber app to choose uberX or BLACK. Within minutes, you will get a curbside pickup from your own private driver.

• No promo code needed. Just request and ride.

• Five FREE rides through 11:59pm on Wednesday (4/23) for up to $25 per ride.

• Greater Cleveland area only

This is great for quick rides within the City.
