Busch Gardens 2014 Christmas Town

Discounted 2014 Busch Gardens Williamsburg Christmas Town Tickets

Looking back on vacations past, one of our best family holiday trips was spent at Busch Gardens Williamsburg Christmas Town over Thanksgiving. The park was simply mesmerizing with an astonishing amount of lights and holiday displays, as well as retheming of rides, attractions, and dining locations to become a totally immersive experience.

If our family had a chance to be in the area again during Christmas Town, we would not hesitate to visit the park again.

That is why we are really excited to share the details on the 12 Days of Christmas Special from Busch Gardens Williamsburg.

From today until November 18, 2014, you can purchase single day tickets for Christmas Town for only $12 each (plus a $4.99 fee). That makes the tickets cost substantially less than when we visited a couple years ago.

Tickets are valid November 21, 22, 23, 30; and December 5, 7, 15, 16, 17, 18, 22, 30, 2014.

2014 Fabulous Food Show

2014 Fabulous Food Show Ticket Giveaway

My wife and I enjoyed the inaugural year of the Fabulous Food Show way back in 2006. Boy were things different in those days. No kids, lots of discretionary income to spend on things. Back then, that was even before the big organic push, and our love for cooking and eating meant for trying out lots of great new food products.

These days as a family, meals are not as always as glamorous as they were when my wife and I were dating, but we still have a passion for eating. Maybe even my wife will get around to trying out some of those thousands of recipes on her Pinterest boards. 🙂

One show we keep wanting to get back to every year is the Fabulous Food Show in Cleveland at the IX Center. For one weekend, celebrity chefs and food vendors from all over the country emerge on the city to show off their latest recipes, cookbooks, and food products. It was a GREAT event when we attended back in 2006, and it has gotten bigger and better every year.

The I-X Center is proud to present the 9th annual Fabulous Food Show, November 14-16, 2014!

Next Tuesday, November 11, all guests to the National Parks will get free admission. This is the last time this year that all the parks will be free.

The National Park Service runs 401 different facilities. Currently only 133 of the National Parks charge an admission. How many can you fit in within one day?

You can read about our families recent trip to the James A. Garfield National Historic Site with Kids, where we took advantage of visiting during the National Public Lands Day in September.
