In 2014, the parks offered various sales throughout the year, with ticket prices for $29.99 each (some were lower at smaller parks). For example, here is the information from the 2014 Cedar Fair Christmas in July sale. The deal with most of those sales were the tickets had to be used within a short time frame, typically a month or less.
There is no guarantee that the $29.99 tickets will return for 2015, but it is a good reference point.
The great thing about the Presidents Day ticket sale is the tickets are able to be used for around two months, depending on when the parks open.

Remember, the sale ends tonight at midnight, so get your tickets now to lock in savings for this summer. This is a great time to lock in your savings to ride Fury 325 (Carowinds), Rougarou (Cedar Point), and Voyage to the Iron Reef (Knott’s).
