Do Time Changes Effect Disney Time?
I have been to some pretty great musical festivals and concerts in my time. However, one of the most notable festivals was when I was tripping on a time change.
A long, long time ago, 1895 to be exact, some not so genius man, Mr. George Vernon Hudson decided it would be more efficient and economical to manipulate the hours of a day, resulting in the Daylight Saving Time change. As a result, it tends to cause hallucinogens in the following days when you try and make up for the one less hour of sleep.
The following is my recollection of what happened in the past 24 hours.
Once the envelop of white light receded, we met a dancing and singing Duck.
At some point a Genie appeared, granting us 3 wishes.
Flying carpets carried couples that were too tired from the “spring ahead.”
In a former version of myself, we have been known to drop a couple bucks in the Live Lobsters Dancing Nightly slot machines; however, little did we know the reality of the situation.
We had a run-in with the toy soldiers at the border of the toy box.
And lastly managed to see toys come to life, including a horse jump rope. Who knew?
