If you are feeling a bit left out in the cold with some of the free ski deals this winter, we have found the option to get you skiing for free or extreme discount at resorts all across the country. The GEIGERRIG company developed and sells a pressurized hydration pack for use during all of your recreational activities. Simply strap on the backpack, and pullout the pressurized system to hydrate yourself, family, or friends, as well as other outdoor activities that may require a pressure wash.
I recently discovered the purchase of a GEIGERRIG hydration system also includes a High Adventure Passport. Inside the Passport is deeply discounted and/or free lift tickets to ski resorts all across the country.

So I have to buy a GEIGERRIG pack, but is it worth it?
The current catalog of GEIGERRIG hydration packs looks to range between $115-200 each. That is one expensive bottle of water. However, for the extreme outdoors person, I suppose it could get a lot of use. In addition, for the purposes of seeing if it is worth purchasing for the Passport program, we now have a benchmark to compare.
For the purposes of comparison, lets take a look at the same list of resorts and the potential savings by using the Passport program. Next to each property above, I have done a quick calculation to show the savings by using the GEIGERRIG Passport program. Simply taking advantage of only a small selection of the selected ski resorts shows there is a considerable advantage to purchasing a GEIGERRIG hydration pack, even if just for the purposes of getting to ski for discount all season. Plus on top of it, you would have a high-quality hydration pack to use.
GEIGERRIG has put together an amazing discount package with the Passport program.
The above cost savings list in no way accounts for travel and other ancillary costs associated with skiing, but gives a rough idea of the potential savings should one elect to take advantage of a handful of the offers. Not to mention, you would be purchasing and getting to keep a high quality hydration pack to test out on the slopes.
As a reminder, here are some of the other great free ski deals that are available this season:
