50 Free Best Buy Reward Zone Points and Converting Out
In the process of writing our article from a couple weeks ago on converting Best Buy Reward Zone (BBRZ) points into other mileage and point programs, I realized this week that I, myself, actually forgot to perform my own transfer. Here it is almost two weeks into the new year, and I potentially missed out on free miles.
The reason I was reminded about converting BBRZ points is because their Facebook page is currently offering 50 free Best Buy Reward Zone points by taking two (2) separate, 1-question surveys. Easy enough. You just need to Like BBRZ on Facebook. Then after signing into your BBRZ account, be sure to take the surveys under the User Poll and Member’s Choice tabs. Immediately, you will receive 50 free points.
That is when it dawned on me…did I ever transfer out my BBRZ points into US Airways Dividend Miles? The answer was no, and quickly I realized all the points from 2012 were still sitting in my account.
While the Best Buy Reward Zone points technically do expire at the end of each calendar year, Best Buy actually allows points that accumulated in December the chance to post to your account in January. Therefore, you actually have until the end of January to convert your Best Buy Reward Zone points into other programs.
Fortunately for us, my failure to transfer has allowed me to earn an additional 50 free points from the BBRZ Facebook page, resulting in an extra 24 US Airways Dividend Miles (157 US Airways miles = 332 BBRZ points versus 133 US Airways miles from 282 BBRZ points). Not bad for a silly mistake.
If you would like to earn additional, free Best Buy Reward Zone points (or Delta Skymiles, US Airways Dividend Miles, or Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) points) all year long, please visit our Audience Rewards page, where you can answer Broadway show questions (we even give you the answers), and be one step closer to your travel destination.

Thanks for that heads up… I would have missed those BBRZ points!
Seems that Best Buy is running Facebook polls frequently enough and giving out 25 points each time! I got 50 this week already.
@Joel: Yeah, the surveys could be very lucrative, and I have a post coming out about it this week. Thanks!
