The Hiding Queen from Snow White at Disneyland
Have you ever noticed the hiding Queen from Snow White at Disneyland’s Fantasyland? We almost did not see her either. As we were walking around Fantasyland, and waiting for Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, we just so happen to see movement in the upper level of the Snow White’s Scary Adventure building.
Most of the time the curtain is drawn, and everything appears normal. However, if the Queen catches you misbehaving in Fantasyland, she will open the curtain and give you a stern look of disapproval. You were not about to throw that candy wrapper on the ground, were you?
Next time you are at a Disney Park, look up and all around. While you may be in a rush to get to a ride before the queue fills up, or grabbing your FastPass, on the way back, take some time and really enjoy your surroundings. See if there are any hidden treasures that others might not have noticed.
Wow- great catch – you must slow down at Disney to catch all the amazing details they put into everything – I know it’s hard to do with the kiddos though!!
Thank you so much for linking up with R We There Yet Mom!! I hope you have a great weekend!

I had no idea that the evil Queen was hiding in the building and it’s probably a good thing that we didn’t see her or my younger daughter would have been running for the park exit!!
@Lisa: So true. While Bug was too little (1) at the time of this picture to realize she was there when, I think when we go back this summer, we might be in for a different response. Or maybe it could be used to encourage good behavior. 🙂
Hmm, I don’t know…but how exciting is it that there are TWO Snow White movies coming out on the big screen in the next six months? Personally, I’m pumped.
Wow, I had no idea until I just went and watched the trailers. They look pretty good! Who wants to babysit?
Dang! We didn’t see her either – and we were with a private Disney Land guide, too – urrrgh.
We’ll have to keep an eye out for her next time:)
I’ve managed to catch her peeking out before, but I’m incredibly impressed that you were either fast enough on the draw with your camera to catch her, or you’re incredibly patient in waiting for a second opportunity. Kudos to you either way.
I’ve seen her! But sometimes I look for her for awhile and she never appears.
I’ve seen her before! She’s creepy.
I think the coolest thing is that she doesn’t pop out on a predictable time schedule, that is sooo Disney of her!
