Audience Rewards SPG Trivia Update (7-18-2011)

I have been so busy unpacking and moving, the only thing I have really had time to keep track of is the Audience Rewards program. Yesterday the Audience Rewards SPG questions updated. It took me a while to get all of our Audience Rewards accounts straightened out. I could not locate exactly which of our accounts I linked to our one SPG account. After about an hour of searching, I found our SPG account linked to my wife’s account. As easy of this program is for stacking rewards, it also takes some organization when managing accounts for all four of us.

The latest SPG questions are as follows:

– In what show did Savannah Wise make her Broadway debut? Original Les Miserables company

– The Araca Group is a production and general management company that got their start with what musical? Urinetown

– Which of the following has NOT been the name of the theater where Spider-man: Turn Off the Dark is playing? Palace Theatre

– What future Tony Winner made her Broadway debut in The Lion King? Heather Headley

– True or False? The Normal Heart is a semi-autobiographical piece by author Larry Kramer. True

You will notice this week there were 5 questions as opposed to last week’s 4 questions. Another easy 10 points.

US Airways Audience Rewards Update

Well sure enough after I posted my Audience Rewards wrap-up yesterday of the weekly question and answers that changed for the various Audience Rewards trivia questions, US Airways went and updated their questions.

This weeks questions and answers are as follows:

– The new revival of Follies is transferring from what city? Washington, D.C.

– What was the name of the song that “The Wizard and I” later replaced in Wicked? Making Good

– How many Broadway theatres has Rock of Ages played at so far? 2

– The predominant color associated with Wicked is what? Green

– Matt Caplan (the Peter Parker understudy in Spider-man: Turn off the Dark) has been in all but which of these shows on Broadway? American Idiot

– Robin Williams of Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo is from what city? Chicago

Grab yourself another easy 12 miles and extend your expiration date.

Audience Rewards Bonus Miles (Week of July 15)

Well it seems there really is no set update to the questions within Audience Rewards trivia questions for free miles and points. At first I thought maybe they got updated weekly, then I figured at the first of the month, and now it seems they are updated again in some of the programs.

As of right now, the US Airways questions have not updated. However, Delta updated their questions this week as follows:

– How many total previews did Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark have? 182

– The Araca Group is a producer behind all but which of the following shows? The Book of Mormon

– What is the name of the school in Wicked? Shiz

– Catherine Zuber was the costume designer for which shows this season on Broadway? Born Yesterday and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying

– What theatre does Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo play? Richard Rodgers

I also knew that the Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) program was also taking part in Audience Rewards, but we were not members, so I did not mention it. However, seeing as there have been a ton of recent SPG promotions lately, and I know the program is a favorite among travelers, I decided to sign us up for an account.

The SPG Audience Rewards trivia questions is a series of only 4 questions, so only a possibility of 8 points, but it gets our account moving.

The current SPG questions and answers are:

– What show moved out of the Brooks Atkinson theatre so that Rain could move in? Rock of Ages

– What new musical are the composers of Mamma Mia working on now? Kristina

– In How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Hedy LaRue is who? Biggley’s mistress

– How many Tony Awards was Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo nominated for? 3

Overall, these miles/points have been posting to our accounts extremely fast. Therefore, in addition to stacking accounts, this is an excellent fast way to extend the expiration on your accounts.
