Sea World Parks has released the details of their 2014 Busch Gardens Preschool Pass, and the offer is even better than last year. Luckily, no longer is the promotion limited to Virginia residents as it was in the past.

Kids aged 3-5 get a free Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Water Country USA Preschool Season Pass.

Guests have until May 31, 2014 to register and redeem at the Parks for the pass. Then enjoy the Parks until September 1, 2014.

In order to redeem, you pre-register on the website. Then, you bring the pre-purchased (they cost $0) tickets to the front gate, along with the child’s birth certificate to verify their age at the time of redemption.

In addition to the 2014 Busch Gardens Preschool Pass, after you register, adults also have the option to purchase individual 2-park passes as well as season passes.

Busch Gardens Tampa 2013 Christmas Town in July Sale

Busch Gardens Williamsburg Christmas Town

Last Thanksgiving our family spent the holiday weekend at Williamsburg to celebrate the accomplishments of our forefathers, and for some fine colonial dining. As a secondary stop on the trip, we decided to visit Busch Gardens Williamsburg for the opening night of Christmas Town.

During our planning of the trip, we pre-purchased our tickets to Christmas Town online, for what we thought was the best deal out there. However, about a month later, Busch Gardens offered a fantastic opportunity to purchase Christmas Town tickets for half off the normal price.

I was very fortunate that after calling into Busch Gardens, they allowed me to reissue our tickets and offered a refund for the price difference.

Our family was overly impressed with what Busch Gardens Christmas Town offered their guests. During our visit, the weather was wonderful, and the entire park was completely transformed with lights and Christmas decorations. All the rides that were open were rethemed for Christmas. Visiting Christmas Town really was an impressive and immersive experience that surely won our recognition as being well worth the cost, especially at discount. Busch Gardens Christmas Town Discounts

There are two Busch Gardens locations that offer the Christmas Town experience for their guests, Tampa and Williamsburg.

Yesterday, Busch Gardens Tampa announced that the schedule was released for the 2013 Christmas Town event, as well as guests could purchase their discount tickets for what was touted on their Facebook page as “the best prices.” So I was curious, knowing we had saved a significant savings during the November special last year.

What I did not realize was that there appears to be grossly different price points between the Tampa and Williamsburg locations.

The normal 2013 adult ticket price to the Tampa Christmas Town is $60, with advance purchase getting the cost down to $40. While the Williamsburg Christmas Town 2013 prices and schedule have yet to be released (why would they release one and not the other?), our adult pre-purchased ticket prices last year were only $26.99, and after the November sale, the prices dropped to only $17.50/ticket.

From what I have been able to tell, it appears Busch Gardens substantially raised the ticket prices compared to last year, at least for the Tampa location. So I predict the Williamsburg ticket prices could be substantially increased this year as well.

So, what is yet to be determined is whether the pre-purchased ticket price for the Tampa location really are the best discount. Last year, Busch Gardens only offered the November sale at the Williamsburg location. This might have been because 2012 was the first year the event was held at the Tampa location.

Really, I foresee no reason to run out and pre-purchase your Busch Gardens Tampa Christmas Town tickets yet, as the event is still 4 months away. For some reason, I seem to recall the Busch Gardens Williamsburg tickets not even being available until October. Again grossly different between how the two events are distributed.

We will keep an eye on the latest ticket price developments and report when we see a better offer come across our virtual desk.

Pampers Gifts to Grow 2013 Free Kids Admission to Busch Gardens Williamsburg

Busch Gardens Williamsburg

Last year we wrote about the special Pampers Gifts to Grow Free Kids Admission to Busch Gardens Williamsburg, and I was surprised to see the offer come back around for 2013. This years offer is even sweeter than last years, allowing your family to attend Busch Garden’s Williamsburg for a substantial discount.

You can either visit http://seaworldparks.com/en/buschgardens-williamsburg and enter in promo code BGWPAMPERS or go to http://seaworldparks.com/buschgardens-williamsburg/Book-Online/Promo/BGWPAMPERS directly. [Offer expired April 30, 2013.]

Busch Gardens Williamsburg Pampers

Single day tickets to Busch Gardens Williamsburg cost $70 for an adult and $60 for kids ages 3-9. So you can quickly see a family of four (4) can easily save $120.

The main reason I like this years offer better than last years is because you can now use the ticket almost all season. Last year’s tickets were only valid till mid May.

  • Busch Gardens Williamsburg Single Day Ticket is valid for a one day admission.
  • Please enter the number of paid adult tickets and free child tickets on the previous page.
  • The number of free child tickets must be equal to or less than the number of paid adult tickets.
  • You may also purchase additional child tickets at our regular admission price of $60 if the number of children in your party exceeds the number of adults.
  • Ticket valid for one day only between March 17-September 2, 2013.
  • Daily parking is not included.

Also, just like last years offer, you will notice on the special promotional page above that you can also purchase a Fun Card, getting you unlimited visited to Busch Gardens Williamsburg all season…FOR THE SAME PRICE AS A SINGLE DAY TICKET!

Free Busch Gardens Williamsburg Preschool Tickets

I was also delighted to see that Busch Gardens Williamsburg is continuing their tradition of granting free passes to Virginia resident preschool kids. The tickets are limited to preschool tickets ages 3-5. You must register and redeem tickets at the park by May 31, 2013.

Your passes are then valid not only at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, but also Water Country USA. Passes are then valid until September 2, 2013.

Busch Gardens Williamsburg Preschool Passes

Our family visited Busch Gardens Williamsburg last year during the Christmas Town event, and it was fantastic! Not only was it wonderful walking through the different countries and themed areas of the park, but also it was remarkable how amazing the Christmas decorations were, as well as the rethemeing of all the rides. For a family that really does not ride the rides, I would absolutely not hesitate to return to Busch Gardens Williamsburg, and I think this offer is an incredible value to the consumer.
